Thanks to certification in accordance with the European PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 Module D, our manufacturing processes are independently audited each year by QUINTIN Certifications (NB 2927). This certification confirms that every hearing protector leaving our production facility conforms to the certified type and meets all applicable European requirements.
As a result, we can guarantee consistent fit and quality. Additional fit testing is not required when replacing hearing protectors, saving time and helping to reduce CO₂ emissions. Only in Germany and Switzerland does local legislation require fit testing for replacements.
This enables us to combine high-quality hearing protection with an efficient and more sustainable way of working.
In addition, we continuously focus on key sustainability initiatives, including:
- Sustainable paper management
To offset the environmental impact of our paper consumption, we plant nearly twice as many trees as we use, actively contributing to reforestation and supporting biodiversity.
- Minimizing single-use plastic
Through targeted process improvements and greater awareness, we successfully reduced single-use plastic bags by 22% compared to 2023, significantly cutting plastic waste across our operations.
- Climate-conscious mobility
Our transition to electric vehicles has significantly reduced CO₂ emissions from company cars, achieving a 34.5% decrease per euro of turnover. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainable mobility and climate-conscious operations.
- Long-term waste reduction
By promoting Custom Hearing Protection (CHP) over disposable foam plugs, we save 3.5 kg of waste per user over a five-year period. This includes packaging and product lifecycle considerations, reinforcing our dedication to sustainable product choices.
