Elacin4Life is patented by a Dutch patent since March 2026 (patent no. 2038517), and fully legally certified as part of our annual Module D audit. Every year we receive an accredited external auditor to assess our legal compliance with the PPE Regulation by a full review of our production processes, control points and quality assurance system. Elacin4Life is an integral part of this approval process.

Elacin has over 10 years of experience collecting digital ear impressions from users. By comparing sets from the same users at different points in time, we can accurately track ear canal changes and adjust custom-made hearing protection accordingly.
Extreme weight changes may cause deviations in fit that are outside of our control. We are currently investigating the impact of weight fluctuations on ear canal changes and custom-made hearing protection.
Elacin4Life is recommended for users between 18 and 65 years, as ear canal changes are mostly linear during this period. For younger or older users, the service is not advised.
The 5 year warranty remains unchanged, whether new ear impressions are taken or scans are adjusted through Elacin4Life.
