ELACIN SafeSound • SoloCom
The SoloCom ensures that speech being received arrives at the eardrum, 'beyond the hearing protector'. Therefore, background noise is shut out, and as a consequence speech can be more easily understood. The degree of protection is determined by the special sound filter in the housing.The ELACIN SoloCom is available in two versions:
- SoloCom Telephone
- SoloCom Radiophone
The SoloCom Telephone connects to either a GSM or a DECT phone as an add-on connection to the apparatus. This version comes equipped with a microphone and a pushbutton, both contained on the same cable.
The SoloCom Radiophone version connects to handset of a two-way radio . A call is answered by means of the microphone and the Push-To-Talk button on the handset.

- Using some means of communication in environments where hearing protection is essential.
- In situations where mobility is required.
- In combination with a telephone (GSM, DECT) or two-way radio.
- In environments with moderate noise levels.
- In industrial environments, e.g. building, assembly and carpentry operations, shipyards and emergency services.
